Challenges:

This gin manufacturer and retailer had abandoned their social media for over six months and had a hard time optimizing content appropriately for each channel. They had great cocktail recipe content on their website, but no strategy in place to drive engaged traffic from social media. The design assets they had been using weren’t unique or compelling enough to stand out to followers. They approached AirTank to help overhaul their social media strategy.

Solutions:

Since branding is key to any successful social media strategy, AirTank began by developing consistent design and messaging to align with industry trends. This involved creating design assets to promote signature cocktail recipes that could then be incorporated into a social media content strategy. Once the branding was in a good place, we created an ongoing content calendar for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and began posting consistent content. We also created ad groups focused around relevant interests and geographical locations, as well as ad campaigns to increase brand awareness by driving post engagement and new followers.

Results:

As a result of AirTank’s branding and social media expertise, this gin manufacturer and retailer saw a 48% increase in Facebook followers, a 46% increase in Facebook organic reach, a 111% increase in Instagram reach and significant increases in social engagement.
