Challenges:

This family owned and operated retailer of discount home goods lacked a comprehensive Amazon strategy for their hundreds of product offerings. As a rapidly growing business, this prevented them from meeting their ambitious sales goals. Their product listings weren’t optimized for search and their Amazon Sponsored Advertising account needed a strategic overhaul to ensure visibility in their competitive market. Furthermore, their listings were being hijacked by unauthorized sellers, resulting in major loss of sales. Solutions:

AirTank immediately set to work optimizing 500+ product listings to align with Amazon best practices for search and conversions—including optimizations to the title, key product features, product description and Enhanced Brand Content. Concurrently, we overhauled and optimized the Amazon Sponsored Advertising account with 70+ campaigns, 174 ad groups and 647 keywords to cover the entire product line in all its sizes, colors and variations. We developed an action plan for removing unauthorized sellers and implemented it with rapid success.

Results:

As a result of AirTank’s strategic and comprehensive approach to the Amazon account, this retailer of discount home goods saw advertising sales increase from $35,970 to $145,878 and Amazon total channel sales increase from $64,466 to $382,627 in just seven months.
